Annuals

Early Spring

In early Spring potted bulbs are available for sale,  such as amaryllis, crocus, muscari and iris emerging early with their spring color. Then, the cheerful  ‘Tete a Tete’  narcissus  and standard daffodil awaken, followed by the everlasting beauty of tulips and the powerful scent of hyacinths which over take the greenhouse with the needed reprieve from the long winter months.

We also carry the bright and colorful indoor varieties of cineria, , calceolaria, primula including ‘fairy’ types to standard primrose, and of course a wide selection of pansies and violas. As well as, early ‘florist’ hydrangeas in pink, blue, and white all in time to make any Easter or spring extra special.

Summer

There are tropicals that grow well in our area during the summer season. Cannas, alocasia, colocasia and musa (banana plants) add dramatic height to containers or in the landscape. Caladiums add electric color to a shady garden and mandevillia, annual hibiscus and other tropical treats can help to create a garden paradise.

Autumn

In the fall we carry a colorful selection of mums, ranging from white, yellow,  and orange to bronze to red, corals, to purple and pinks. Pansy and viola varieties vary from fall hues to a variety of hardy spring colors. We also carry a variety of ornamental cabbage and kale that give lasting texture and color late into the fall and winter.

For indoors, we also carry ornamental peppers and fall varieties that accent the autumnal décor, including Edwards grown pumpkins, squash, and ornamental corn stalks and colorful ears of corn.

Winter

During the winter we keep an extensive selection of Poinsettias, Amaryllis, Azaleas, Ivy, Cyclamen, and Paperwhites. Come check out the beauty growing in our midst!

We also carry fresh cut Christmas trees, and greenery for wreaths and garlands, as well as holly berries and other fresh trimmings to decorate for the season!
